In January 2012, I am attempting to summit the Uhuru Peak of Mount Kilimanjaro (Elevation 5,895 m (19,341 ft))
in order to raise much needed funds for WJR.

In countries such as Bulgaria, Belarus, Moldova and the Ukraine, families and individuals face a daily battle against the trials of poverty and without the lifeline that donations provide, these poor people are destined to suffer increasingly worsening conditions. In addition, with its global outlook today, WJR is positioned as the charity to channel the UK Jewish community's response to disasters and need affecting the international community, regardless of race, religion or nationality.

100% of each and every donation will be used by WJR in furtherance of its aim to help victims of international disasters and to transform the lives of primarily, but not exclusively, vulnerable Jewish communities, outside the UK and Israel, by reducing poverty and enabling lasting, sustainable change.

With your support, World Jewish Relief will continue to help thousands of people to overcome despair and isolation.
